TIME ATTACK ROUND 2 - WELL DONE GUYS!

Post by TimeAttackRob »

Well what can I say, Round 2 at the brand new JTS show was a storming round as usual from what has to be the most exciting and fastest growing track action in the UK to date!

I should have the website updated by this evening with the full picture gallery, results, points table etc.

To everyone who came along to support the guys (and girls before Tigger starts bouncing :o ) thank you.

Well done to all the big power members, Roll on Knockhill!

Rob

It really was a great day and would have almost been on schedule all day if it wasnt for the massive oil trail from Steven Darley's wagon.

Well done on getting the weather right too - you must have friends in high places 8)

A great day out Rob, well done to you and the team. I also think the JTS has a real future too. Much more of a 'no nonsense' event in my opinion :thumb:

Nice to see the Evo going well. I was sitting at the outside of Luffield and watching you and the other 'pros' fighting centrifugal force out of the bend was awesome. You must have had bollocks like coconuts by the end of the day :D

Stu

Cheers for the kind words, the whole thing seems to be gathering some great momentum now and I mentioned to Duncan that the competition is getting fierce!

I had coconut bollocks before the event, they were more walnut sized coming out of luffield with zero grip, i think I mowed the grassed for them at one stage before I got a puff of smoke out the hood and all over the windscreen.
The finals were cut short for me without getting a real good crack at it due to a breather hope letting go and spraying oil everywhere :o

Some awesome driving and yes you are quite right the JTS show will have a great future, I think for a first attempt it was great and like you said, no nonesnse just like minded people chilling and getting entertained!

Ah - so it wasnt just me that was in understeer hell around Luffield :)

Never known a corner like it. It just wouldnt turn in beyond the initial turn.

I tried to balance the throttle in third and it just wouldnt have it, I thnk twice I had to drop down to second, nudge the brakes to try and get some grip going on but it still wasnt clever
