Just a quick question do any of you guys who are either running large turbos or bhp that is at least 35% above standard run without a thermostat.
Also is there any benefit to what we have been told concerning drilling holes in the thermostat.
Thermostats
Standard power =276bhp at the flywheel
Power (when it feels like it) = 440+ bhp at the flywheel
No change in thermostat at all Pabs.

Don't think ours is working properly take the car out for some good loving and after about 15 mins even though the gauge is steady the water level in the expasion tank has risen to almost top of bottle.
Drive the car easy for a while and it settles back down. Park it up with the engine rinning and in about 15 mins back to normal level.
Our thermostate is marked as 88 degrees
At what temperature is yours set to open.
