The only thing I remember about that waste of time was the unintelligible riddles for clues.

Bit like this one :x

i know :D

I am told by a very reliable source that the pistons, rods and liners will cope with 500/500 if det free so pushing it to 400 ish wont be too bad.

So how do the std internals of your 2.5L differ from my US short motor, or isn't yours standard?

Funnily enough, I was looking at turbos on Scoobymania website today.

Need to go through John Banks' thread on S/net. He was regularly popping something whilst pushing the limits.

As far as i know the UK internals are the same as the US internals with hyper*** pistons.

There were some reports of some dying when exposed to huge GT40 turbos and trying to run extreme pressures, but I have not seen one go yet in the uk.

There have been a few built 2.5's go like one on SN this week where it dropped a valve head.

Liners seem good for up to 500lb/ft without probs
Rods - no-one knows
Crank - no-one knows
Pistons - up to 500 det free (but dont like Det at all)
