I hope not :o

A couple of months ago I had the option of either a coilover setup or the 13T's and I went the suspension route as That was priority. No point of havinbg the power if it fails on shocks at the next MOT  And youre probably well aware its not as simple as getting a set of stock shocks as replacements as they are just as much as a coilover setup :(

Are you running stock boost?grommet mod?
I couldnt tell you,was aware the standard gadge is crap for reading boost, will be fitting a aftermarket one next weekend so will see what happens.

Russ,
You need to put on a few pounds and get a chest wig and medallion now then lol.
Are you wanting new or used wheels mate.
The pcd and offset are not unusual but the bore is quite big. Have you any makes/styles in mind. I can do you a good deal on Rota, OZ and Team Dynamics with or without tyres :-D

well when I got mine it seemed quicker than any of the others I had driven though couldnt find any controller MBC or EBC hidden away anywhere,A few weeks later I was told by another owner on GTOUK that he had the car in a few months previously for wheel allignment as he works in a garage in Devon where the car was originally from when I bought it.He told me the owner told him it had the infamous 'de-grommet' mod done to it,if youre not aware of it its a small grommet removed from the boost solenoid that restricts the boost to the stock 7psi ish the car is stock. When this is removed it raise's the boost alledgedly to the 11psi mark. Now this sounds well and good but when I checked the boost on the Greddy gauge i plumbed in a couple weeks later I discovered to my horror it was spiking to 15psi and causing knock when I logged it on the Palm (definitley invest in a datalogger  )So I purchased a MBC to wind it down to 10PSI and then a few weeks later purchased a Blitz SBCiD to control it properly.

Some people run the grommet mod with no problems but I definitely wouldnt advise it!

The stock boost gauge isnt techincally a 'boost gauge' as we know it-can be more easily described as a air-flow meter-if its running wound up boost it should go off the gauge on WOT

As for wheels why not a set of Enkei's from an Evo?Direct fit!

Its got part of a blitz boost control unit but not the controler and i think the vacum pipe is still connected to it :? ,like i said im not going to really touch the engine untill i get the other stuff sorted so not to bothered, will get the boost gadge fitted though.
