Its all about parts and how cheap they are mate.

I wouldnt see a 200sx as a 3rd choice, just look at all the benefits...great looking car, cheap parts, pretty easy to modify, great tuner - Gary and the guys at APT who know lots about them !!

i'm certainly not putting the 200SX in 3rd spot.

its the "financial choice" thats all.

bearing in mind this fairly track dedicated, it wont get too much use.

i might surprise a few people still ;)

If it's going to be more track than road then maybe an early M3 might be a bit lardy???

The E36 3.0L is a pretty robust machine but not the lightest and the tuning potenial isn't as great as that of a turbo motor.

If it was me i think i would have the 200sx or a RX7.

my other dilema is the family.

i either need a car-of-all-trades or a track specific one.

i either get an M3 type car and use it day to day and track/drift it.

or i do my best to find an insurance company to insure 2 cars, the family wagon and the track/drift car.

this fills me with dread to sort out ( especially the level of mods the cars i'm looking at has! )

if i fall in love with something enough, i will strive to keep the premium(s) down.

i know 2 cars make more sense but i will find it hard to justify a

I know what you mean. It's a tricky one that.

For the cost of a set of AP front brakes and a full ehaust and re-map i could buy a half decent track car!

But with me hardly being in the country i can't justify having two cars.

I'm in the process of selling my two motorbikes because i never use them.

Rentons 32 is nice enough - thats about 5k

I also know of a wine 32gtr which has just done a set of turbos for about 4-4.5k if you like. Other than that its tops and has ap brakes and some other nice bits, Ive known the car for 6 years !!
