Well it has now done about 2,000 miles on the new engine and it's running fine. It did fill the catch tank 3/4 full on the Snetterton trackday and I had to empty it, which did worry me a bit. Since then it has filled up again with some hard driving on the road and I poured it into a sample jar to settle. It appears to be 90% fuel, so the next stage is to get it mapped and lean off the fuelling. Richard @ RSP told me that he had left it rich at the top end to protect it while I was running it in (I think he was more concerned about the stress of the Snetterton trackday :D )

The only other thing that I have done to it, appart from wash it and hoover it out, is to polish the windows and finaly fit the BigPower stickers that have been sitting on my shelf for a few months

I thought that this sticker being Silver onto Silver would be a nice subtle touch :) but I think maybe I should have stuck it on the corner of the bonnet instead. Oh well, I will blag another one of Dunk at the next meet

Future plans are for a larger oil cooler, the one that I have now is a Mocal 19 row, but I need to go larger before another trackday really. Then there is the lure of an alloy radiator and some better guages inside..........will it ever be finished?

Er, no. But that is why we love them, nurture them, thrash them and rebuild them again. Great to see you flying the flag Geoff :thumb:

I have a photo shoot booked on Tuesday with Matt Woods for a forth comming feature in Jap Performance magazine and since the car was looking a bit grubby, I got some young git to ccme round to give it a full days clean and polish with his Porta Cable polisher 8) (I call him a git due to the fact that he allways messes with my numberplate) :-D

Where to start?

The car looks simply gorgeous Geoff, well done. Do you know what issue the feature is going in or when Woods-san is doing the photos?

I was looking through the photos thinking 'don't tell me that git has got another Skyline' not realising that the valeter was Steve and that was his 33.

When I see pictures of cars like yours with the power and the looks it does make me a bit sick. I have let my car go really and made the excuse that it's for driving, not looking at. Load of bollocks in the real world, as your car and so many others on the 'scene' prove really.

Some very arty photos from Adam, I wouldn't expect anything less but nice to see the young Jedi hasn't lost his touch.
