I think these would work well on track days - what do you reckon?

235/650x18's?

What is the closest to this in normal road going sizes Alyn? I use 9.5" width rims when using 18"s, do you think these would suit? If so, may well be interested in a few sets.

650 is the overall diameter Stu.

You can calculate your current tyre diameter here:

Looks like, if they are E marked and the LOAD and SPEED ratings are correct for the car and they are not branded "non highway use/service" (NHS) or comp use only etc, then they should be fine (so long as they conform to all the other regs (tread depth etc  )

Best people to speak to are obviously Pirelli or the distributor.

Hope this helps

Been offered some of the RS version - RS9 to be precise so I am guessing a fairly soft compound.

Anyone got any views/experience on them?

The deal seems too cheap but very tempting.

I am guessing that these would be ok for trackday but would up me to the modified class in JISC sprints. but will they last more than a lap or two on track?
