Best of luck with the lessons & test. Are you doing it through CamRider in Cambridge or someone else?

I passed with CamRider April 2006 despite falling off with a bump 20 minutes before the test. Ouch.

Good fun but my boyfriend won't let me buy a bike now. :(

my fiancee wants a bike, but i would be climbing the walls if she ever got one. if she did i would end up getting a licence and getting a bike aswell.

Best of luck with the test. The Elise was having an engine swap as it had blown a few weeks previously. It belonged to a guy that Scott works with, Scott said he'd do the engine swap for him (and for free!) and save him

A completely mint original and one of the first VFR400's! 8)

You wont regret it if you go for one mate, they still look great even today and the handling makes up for the lack of grunt what the bigger bikes have.
call that getting your knee down? pah.... http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... 8&hl=en-GB

i really didn't want to post on this thread but the urge was too great.

i am very jealous you're getting all excited about it all.

unfortunately i just remeber the thefts, crashes, pain, broken bones ( lots of them!! ), cold, numb fingers, sweating in leathers, bad breath, helmet hair, running out of fuel.......

but don't let me put you off!! :D :D :D

Im not going down this route of 'the way you use your car' crap again!! :x

You saw me at Marham using it hard!

I did use to ride bikes fast but when i was riding in a group twice two different guys had big crashes so it put me off them really.

Then went down the enduro route and got a enduro bike which was great fun but very limited where you can ride them now so sold that in the end.

4 wheels all the way now!!

lol. sorry mate. i didn't mean to touch a raw nerve pmsl.

what i mean is, the "attitude" or "mind set" for fast bike riding on track or road tends to carry over into cars?

i have far more faith in my car round a track than i did on a bike ( cadwell springs to mind lol )

i fully respect your learning the GTR's ability etc and you owning one.

but i was just surprised to find out you rode like that.
