My drift night~ Snett 9th May

Post by Stuart »

Just a few diarised notes, bullet points as it were.

7.15am awoke to the sound of various pets whining cos they needed the loo, then it dawned on me. Today was drift day :wack:
7.35am logged in to laptop and pm's, emails and the like started immediately. It seemed I wasn't the only one excited.
8.30am start loading trailer, get diesel for truck and petrol for Sierra. Mental note=no mix-ups.
9.30am get to unit, inspect damaged bonnet, overspray and general 'oh my fuck, I'm not ready at all' attitude sinks in.
11.15am unload Sierra at Snett on my own, tangibly excited now. Off to Garys in Lenwade now to get the S13
1.00pm arrive to see Skylines, Evos, 200s and a Lexus Aristo TT there and Project Typhoo in the corner. Looking cool
1.30pm start loading S13
2.15pm Ben/murano3 has arrived, with food scoffed and pleasantries exchanged we left aiming to be at the track for 3pm
3.10pm arrival, Ben started sniffing around immediately, infatuated by the S13.
5.00pm drifting starts one at a a time on the circuit. Bladerider is like the Imperial Star Destroyer of Oversteer, a real treat (thank you James ) many aren't so good........yet.
8pm drifting stops, most people delighted with their bit of fun.
9pm put S13 on trailer to go back home.
10.30pm leave Tyrells restaurant.

00.25am Fooked, stars in front of my eyes tired, fooked! Need to be up in 6 hours for another day :thumb:

A great day guys, cheers :notworthy:

It was a blumming ace evening ... now if we could do it on a dry night that would be tops.

I think I would still need a wet track to try and get it sideways though :D

I have not laughed so much for ages :rotflol:
