i.e standard pump R32GTR cold 5bar, hot idle 2bar, hot 4k rpm 4bar
Thanks Paul

The HKS pump flows a little less than the Jun pump 25% more than standard but is stronger and has a more consistant flow at high RPM . So hot at idle 2.5 bar 5bar at 4k .stuartstaples wrote:I'll be the first to admit I am an arse when it comes to mechanical apsects of cars, but I am thoroughly enjoying the thread. What would expect the uprated pumps to show on the oil pressure gauge compared to a standard one?

No not a good idea but easy to do  best to bag tag and put everything in the boot on a sheetmurano3 wrote:Also Ian, I would imagine Paul doesn't recommend laying your parts on the floor in order .. then kicking them across the floor.
When I fitted a N1 Oil pump to my last engine the gauge pressure readings did not change a bit disappointing really323ian wrote:My accurate mecahnical gauge is somtimes miles out to the stock gauge so am glad i got one.
I thought the figures you quoted for the HKS pump was fairly similar to what you should be getting with a N1 pump Paul?
