Steering column lowering?

Post by jazzymonkey »

I am wondering if it is possible to lower my steering column on my BMW 535 E34. I have modified the seat subframe and runners so that i am sitting low and now the steering wheel is quite high. It has back and forward adjustment but no up or down. I remember fitting a bracket to a few Mini's quite a few years back that dropped the steering column somewhat. :?:
Thanks in advance.

Had to do the same on the ax just put some spacers in, it actually made the steering shaft universal joint run at a better angle
