Hi guys and thanks for the welcome.
Indeed my car is a RAW sourced Striker which really only resembles the Sylva original design as so many revisions have been made since. I'd like to believe I've contributed to the developement over the last few years as I'm regularly at the factory in Hereford with my ideas!
Without trying to get in to the technical details too much I'm on my third variant of the 1600cc 4AGE in that chassis. The previous engine was the blacktop 20V which puts out 150BHP giving my car 280BHP per ton. My new engine is based on the earlier but more robust silvertop 20V and a Rotrex supercharger. I was going to aim for say 0.7-0.8 bar of boost but based on recent experience I might as well go for 1 bar and see what happens
I previously built a 1800cc 4AGE and used the roots blower from an MR2 and that made 200BHP on 10PSI. That blower was 50% efficient and the rotrex is at least 70% efficient in comparison so I'd be disapointed if I didn't beat that target by a good margin.

I'm using an OMEX 710 ECU and will probably get Richard, the owner of OMEX, to map my car as he's got a lot of recent Rotrex mapping experience. My car is sat at Mech Repairs in Cheltenham just down the road from OMEX unfortunately my ECU had a duff logging chip and its gone back for repair. Been waiting 3 weeks so far :x !!
Hard to say really as I can't even decide which Rotrex to use at the mo and really need to try both sizes I'm considering. I also haven't lowered the compression from 10.5:1 so that'll be the first limit but this is just a test to start off. I did have 8.9:1 forged pistons in it at one point but I really want to try the standard pistons first to get feedback to RAW so they can develope a bolt on kit. So I'll aim for 225-250BHP to start with and go for more later.
The suspension is all double wishbone with custom rear uprights and front Sierra uprights. Front suspension is inboard rocker arm actuated as you can see from the first picture. The shocks are rather old Spax which will be replaced soon, springs are custom rates to suit the Striker. No roll-bars required as the car was design right from the start!
