good luck with it anyway, im really looking forward to seeing it in action. what kerb weight are you shooting for? i know the early scoobies are the very light ones

The car stands at about 1100kg kerb weight at the minute mate but im going to make things a tad lighter not sure what an when as of yet but would like to get it a bit lighter.andycaca wrote:ah ok. at first glance it looked pretty simple, but ive never worked on a scooby in my life so didnt know about that.

Its my manifold mate i have got dereks but his icv and throttle position sensor plugs where different to mine his where 3 pin where mine are 4 pin plugs, unfortuantly my bits would not fit his manifold so had to put mine on there.blacky wrote:Worbs
How come you are having trouble with the reversed inlet manifold as that Dereks Manifold isn't it :?: And his fitted fine :? :?
Think i was being a bit optimistic with the 1100kg mate, when its done ill take it to a public weigh bridge get it checked out.blacky wrote:Ahh I see, okay, didn't know that you were using your manifold.
Think you might be being at tad hopeful on the 1100kg weight mate (uless you've binned a fair amount of stuff off it.??), the earliest RA's were 1150kg, and thats a tad optimistic once you have all your fluids and fuel etc in the car.
Not yet mate, mapping is on Friday.
The grill is a bit shabby up close dunc but may get it resprayed and fit it, will keep it off for time being.dynamix wrote:with IMO
