Well finally my little mk1 escort NA cossie made it to the rolling road for mapping.

To start off with Emerald rolling road has been fantastic today. We had a number of issues throughout the day but he stayed in a good mood (ish)!

I spent last Saturday checking over the car for leaks etc to make sure it was ready for the rolling road, cam cover leak fixed but sadly my alternator fried when the engine was turned off with the kill switch. I now know not to do that without the right type of kill switch! Every thing seemed fine but I knew there would be teething problems, as it hadn

A nice read that and always good to read about someone taking another step closer to being on the road again.

I'm glad your faith in Dave seems to have paid off(wheel aside) His reputation for mapping and general engineering know how is pretty much as good as it gets so I'm sure he'll be the right man for that ECU and that car.

Bloody nice trailer too :thumb:

Just read through this mate,nice looking car and I'm glad your driving it now after all the shit it appears to given you mate. They're not bad figures either bud. It took me near 6 years to finish mine mate. I started with an atmo cossie in mine also as they sound the tits revin :-D good luck with it though bud
