Supercharged Civic Type R

Post by James Breadvan »

Thought I'd post some specs up now that a few of you have seen it go!

It has:
Jackson Racing Supercharger(JRSC)
AEM cai
650cc Injectors
Spoon Bpipe(kept std backbox, it's a sleeper)
Hondata Kpro engine management
Tein Superstreet coilovers
Adjustable camber bolts and arms
Powerslot big disks
No brake pads in at the moment, waiting for some yellow stuff to turn up.The ferodos didn't like Marham
Quaife LSD
Fidanza 3.2 clutch
Fidanza Lightend flywheel

The future plans for it are Baffled sump and some trackday tyres. Also I might go for a big rotrex 'charger to give me another 100whp if I'm feeling flush

Great car! Your civic is quite a bit quicker than my skyline (and that TVR :-D ) and just looks like another civic, true sleeper. Fantastic :-D :-D

Ian whats wrong with that Skyline of yours to let a Honda beat you?! 8-[

All joking aside your car was great at Marham, really did shift! I would have to suggest getting a spoon backbox though as it sounds a bit quiet from the outside?

This is a true sleeper of a car! After seeing it in the flesh at Marham, it goes like a rocket. If you look at it closely thou, there are little clues that there's something different about it, i.e (the bloody great brakes!).
I agree about the backbox, could do with changing. But great looking and quick car :-D

Awesome, Whole idea of a sleeper is not to give the game away until you go past the opposition!! Keep it quiet! Keep people guessing!

Its good to see another CTR, I have a 02 CTR also in black, waiting for warranty to run out then possible plans for a stroker kit or a turbo not sure yet. I take it that the Jackson kit was fitted by CPL Racing, was it a quality installtion as I'm planing to get work done there my self? Nice CTR :P

The car is starting to come together now after a couple of false starts. After a bit of wheeler dealing I managed to sell my JRSC and buy a rotrex supercharger and as a result only had to pay an extra
