Bart's XR4i

Post by pablo »

Al's a very happy man today :-D inspite of having to do a head gasket change on the track car.
We went and got his 4i out of the unit, where it has been hybernating since September. It has come straight from the unit so needs a wash and polish.

I bet he'll put some mileage on that this weekend :D

I always find the seperation from my car is terrible over the winter months, so much that the intended 4 month lay up normally gets to about 6 weeks and then I cave in. Probably goes some way to explaining why my 32 looks the way it does and Barts 4i looks so good for a 22/23 year old car.

Sould have seen the grin on his face when it fired up, he was like a kid at christmas. Once the track car is back together we're taking both cars out to run them in again
Hopefully we'll find another driver and bring all 3 sierra's to the May meet
