In car footage - Donny - updated 9th april

Post by pablo »

SORRY FOR THE POOR SOUND QUALITY

Mic was to close to the camcorder :oops:

The good things to come out of this;
The general performance was really good
The brakes also were very strong

The bad bits;
In an attempt to dial out some understeer we ended up with a bit too much oversteer as seen in the video :x
Oh yes and the head gaskets blown :x

You can see the car certainly pulls well enough. Loads of low down torque :smoke: I'm really looking forwards to putting the two cars up against each other on a track. I think you'll murder me for power but mine should be a lot lighter..........will be a hell of a laugh :thumb:

After the head gasket blew Alan wasn't sure what the car was dropping on the track. So avoid causing any accidents or track closure this is what he did :o

In doing this he did break the front bumper, but i agree with his action.

That install is excellent - very top gear.

I'd also be very interested to know more about the install.

It's a bullit camera, The mounting bracket for it is screwed to the bumper near the towing eye. The wires run under the bonnet and round the edge of the engine coming up between the bonnet and the wing. Can hardley be seen. In through the passenger door and connects to a camcorder in the glove box. We should be at the May meet, Al wants to have a go at drifting. If so we will bring it with us.
It can be fixed to any part of the car inside or out.
