i used pirtek a few years ago when i had to replace the fuel filler cap on a peugeot.
i had to cut the flexi fuel line from the filler pipe to the tank as the jubilee clips were seazed solid.
i bunged a cloth in the tank hole and went down there and gave me what size and length of pipe i needed to reconnect the filler neck to the fuel tank.
it was piping used for high pressure fuel lines so was defo up to the job.....

Alex I will DEFINITELY have the sizes for you tomorrow!
Pirted make hydraulic hoses dont they? This is only really for show to be honest and is just carrying oil vapour.

SCA have braided hose, might be Aeroquip, its either that or goodridge...and re-usable ends in JIC/AN fittings...and a range of adaptors, dead easy to assemble.
