Not a bad idea that.
The only way that will work though is to get all competing cars on the scales on the meet night before the dyno day, and that is the drift practice night too!
As this is a lovely democratic forum will all competing drivers put a 'YES' or 'NO' next to their names to agree with a power to weight ( = YES) or disagree and stick with a normal format as per Dunkinators idea ( = NO)

That is a good idea, it gives a better indication of performance, If my beech buggy was built I'd have a fighting chance that way - 200+bhp in a half ton car!!!!stuartstaples wrote:Not a bad idea that.

its just a case of if all the cars can be weighed prior to the event, I am busy the night before the RR day but we could go by book weight for most cars and just weigh cars with non original engines fitted or any weight saving mods? (stripped interior, CF/GRP panels etc..)
I don't mind which way we do it, perhaps stick to original plan but have a little prize/trophy for best power/weight?

Can I leave putting my name up until say a week or so before the event or is it limited to 30 cars & it's first come-first served?
Car died yesterday in Ely & you know the delicacy of my car troubles (!) so I wouldn't want to get my name down & deprive someone of a place (if its limited spaces) if the car dies again.
