I will put up some pics and more detail later,

But suffice to say that the car is finally coming back together, its cost way more than I expected, but its spec is still going up and will be pretty insane when done. Im knackered, I keep chopping bits off the car though which is nice and generally Im a happy bunny !!!

Okey dokey....

Here we have the pistons going back in their little warrens.....
Image

Notice the loveliness of the worked crank, theres also ARP mains here too !!!
Image

Heres a little critter roaming the wild expase of Bobs toolbox before being grabbed and stuffed in an unstuspecting SR20 - HKS pistonas, Tomei rods of goodness, ARP uprated bolts and nismo shells/bearings being the items of choice !!
Image

Im afraid I havent got the photos of the head work, cams and HKS Step3 kit at the mo, these will be coming shortly,

However, heres the built article...
Image

Now with intake and injectors just going in after cleaning/checking - Nismo 740cc
Image

Extra puff now added with a roller bearing turbo, uprated actuator and the previous manifold, elbow etc - EGT sensor to go in
Image

Engine...car, car....engine !!!
Image

Ready to go in, and unfortunately blocking a view of the new external jacking points the rollcage man did and later on my battery went flat so I guess more pics to come on that score
Image

Interesting shot if you know what you're looking for ;) :D
Image

Engine in saturday night........
Image

I guess you could say its all a bit tight and rather low !!!! I like the clearance on the new sump and think my new pullies look luverly !!
Image

This was a quickie taken today .....engine is now bolted in, gearbox mounted and exhaust all done, battery relocated inside the car, main looms located inside the bay neatly now, loads of other bits, extinguisher system put back in, much better larger hole for intercooler piping, custom bracket now for oil filter relocater with extra jubilee clip on filter to prevent it vibrating off and killing me/another competitor, god Im too tired to remember much else !!!
Image

As I said, unfortunately my battery went flat on my phone so I couldnt get any more shots, but the car no longer looks quite like this at the front
Image

I got playing with the air hacksaw and "modified it" :D :D :D It should now get lots more air into the intercooler and also the brakes !!!

Im going to bed now as I need to get up in 3 hours to finish of year end invoicing and go to our nations nuclear bomb bunker cos their sky dont work !!!! :D

IT RUNS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Fired up on the button at the first time of asking apparently !!!

I came into the workshops this evening to hear a rather more savage sounding car than I left a few weeks ago - the cams certainly seem to be "aggressive" shall we say !!! :D :D

I still managed to cut a few more holes in the car tonight, although geoff and Bob are starting to get a bit sick of me just making more mess and not helping to put the thing back together !!! :D Lots of other bits with regards to the loom, and the general under bonnet management have been done too, and it looks a million times better under there. They are also intent on sorting out as many issues as possible as they go along, effectively reqiring half my dash and main harness as they are finding so many bodges from the previous owners in Japan. I even got to fabricate up a nice mounting panel for a couple of gauges today that couldnt reside in their old locations due to loom re routing, nearly cut my finger off doing it, but its very satisfying to say "!I made this piece of metal you will never notice !!!" :D

We even managed to start spraying in a few of the blotchy patches caused by all the parts removal that gone on inside and whilst this is only a temprary solution it still looks loads better (thanks Jamie - hope your vision is now back to normal mate) A few bits are now being done "for the moment" as we are running out of time - yes Lloyd, mapping is on Wednesday when I hope to be mentioning figures beginning with a 4 !!!! - but on the whole the car is coming together exactly as per our spec and timeframe.

Im getting all excited now !!!

Wooooohoooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!
