hi there :thumb: my name is nick.
i was directed to your forum the other day by my brother stu that recently registered (scrote)
i come from norfolk originally, but moved away 16 years ago to go to uni in west london, and then got a job in basingstoke.
i've been working for the same company for 11 years now, although in different roles. i work for a supplier of automotive air conditioning, and currently run a climatic wind tunnel where our products are tested in ambient temperatures up to 50 deg. C on a rolling road with wind speed up to 70mph.
i previously spent 4 years with the company living in germany, to the north of frankfurt, during which time i visited the 'ring many times. i have had 2 crashes there, 1 as a driver of a 2.0i sierra 3 door, and 1 as a passenger in my sierra cosworth. i will be going again this year as usual at easter (when it is to busy for serioustrack action but the social scene is good), and probably later in the year as well.
i spend a lot of time on another forum, passionford, as that is where my car passion lies. i only have a little fiesta 1.25 at the moment as i recently bought a house and had to sell my (self-built from the wreckage of my cossie that was crashed at the 'ring) sierra cosworth estate to get the deposit together. however, i own a 1/3 share in another cossie that lives in germany with my friends that is our 'ring taxi and general track toy (also go to hockenheim sometimes)
i have become more interested in motorbikes than cars at the moment, but that may change in the future and i may get another powerful car to play with. as my brother lives close to the snetterton circuit, there is a possibility to meet some of you at an event there one day.
that's a bit of my story anyhow, hope to get to know you more in the future
hello from a new member

Welcome to the site. Two crashes and you 're still hooked by the Nordschleife
Speaks volumes for the place.

little_scrote, set youself up a free photobucket account. ( http://www.photobucket.com )little_scrote wrote:dynamix public days. thursday afternoons. very cheap - about 15 euro for 25 minutes and bikes go separate to cars. very enjoyable
Rnash2002 will figure out how and then post some up
resize the pikkies if you wish ( although this forum does resize them atuomatically )
once uploaded you will see 3 options underneath the picture
left click on the link and it will "copy" it.
then come on here and "right click" to "paste" it.
once submited, it will show the picture on here for all to see!!
hth. :-D

here's a few pics of my previous cars
here is my first experience of the 'ring in a 3 door mk1 sierra with 2.oi engine with skimmed head and high torque cam and cossie front suspension and brakes with xr4x4 rear axle

this is my first cossie, wrapped around a tree off the side of the autobahn 10 minutes after buying it

that donated the running gear into this shell, seen here going on to the 'ring

and coming off second best to the armco at the exit of adenauer forst after a tank slapper

still made it home though, to donate the running gear to the next project

my cossie powered rwd sierra estate (300 bhp) at bedford autodrome

my mk1 escort that i sold last year

a car that i had for a weekend but would have liked for much longer

and this is my current mode of transport
