Just got the regs through for Time Attack and it mentions (amongst other things) that harnesses have to be SFI approved.

I have checked on the SFI website: http://www.sfifoundation.com/ and Sabelt seem to be approved for driver restraint devices.

I havent heard of SFI approval before - my harnesses are these 4 point clubman ECE approved versions:

Anyone know if they will fall within the SFI approval?

SFI is the american version of the FIA approval normally.................

unlikely to find budget/clubman harness's with this approval you will most likely need a pukka Q/R type harness

Yep, i would imagine you need to get some FIA approved harnesses unfortunately for a competition event like Time Attack and if you buy or use second hand then make sure they are in date as they have a use by date!
