finally got a turbo for the car all be it a smaller one t51 kai rb ,now running in again and am booked to go dyno on next wed at engine advantages. also fitted some bride seats and harnesses and have got a 5" thick intercooler to fit as well .hope to run the car back end of march at pod for some shake down runs .

I have two seperate people trying to sort out some dates but it will certainly be later in the season Mark. As soon as I have any confirmed information I will post it in the events section.

Great news mark, looking forward to hearing what this configuration is good for - and stu, sounds like a great idea with brunts, hopefully Trev's beast will be sorted in time.

all seems good so far but oil pressure has dropped to 2.0 bar at idle when usually al 4 with tomei oil pump ,,,worries me
dyno will kill or cure

Any ideas why this may have happened Mark? I know your knowledge far outweighs mine on engines, but why risk it for the sake of dyno'ing the car on Wednesday?

have now diagnosed problem motor has done a main bearing probably with 450 miles on it dont know why ,gutted ,pi----ed off ,
f----cking skylines ,who,d have one .
guess i just gotta pull motor again and start again .......maybe dont know ,cant deicide what to do now the damm thing just hates me .i have locked it in shed for being naughty .
any 2.8 short blocks out there ?
