Brilliant day - big thanks to Stuart.

Enjoyed driving on slicks for the first time (Avon A30) and managed to get down to low 1:28's in the old 260ps Scoob.

Sorry couldn't stay for the evening, see you guys next time.

I can only second every thing that has been said! what a fantastic day!!!!!

I have to extend a special thanks to Duncan & Stuart for holding a garage for us! Cheers guys..... it meant so much to be able to turn up and have some where to work and get the car ready this afternoon!!!

And again as has been said so many times, i have to thank Zak.... he worked through the night (with Frayz) to ensure the car was able to make it today and we even mapped the car on the journey up. Then Zak helped me tweak a few things this afternoon and then took the car for a little track time to ensure that it perfomred as hope and handled right. Cheers Zak!!! and of course thanks Frayz!!!!

Thanks guys I cant remember the last time I had so much fun and I only spun twice which was in the morning so i am blaiming that on the wet weather

Only had one problem all day with the car and that was brake fade after 4 laps on each session I had to pull in and let the brakes cool down but i made sure i had as much fun as possible on those 4 laps. Think you guys will see me at more big power track days thats for sure

Youre very welcome mate.. its great to see the car with such potential and i really think it can be a very competitive bit of kit this year.

Here here !!!

Cracking day from our perspective. Just got in from the meet and going to Colchester to pick my van up from GBH.

Big thank you to Stuart and Duncan for organising such a great day. I know all my lot had fun, even though we suffered a couple of mechanical gremlins. Ronnie fried his brakes - which seems to be the story of the day - and after the kill switch initially embarressed Bob on the sighting lap, the turbo exhaust gasket died which meant an early finish in the afternoon. Ronnies son Matt really enjoyed himself in the 350z though, even when his dad knicked it to do some laps, and Pete R and his wife had mucho fun in their MR2. So pretty much a great day out.

As for me - well, it was my first ever proper trackday believe it or not, and I really hope my driving didnt annoy/upset/concern anyone, if it did then I apologise. I had a wail of a time and managed to take out most of the people I promised laps to. Stu, Matt, and Paul are the only ones that spring to mind I missed due to running out of time. The car ran brilliantly, the new brake pads - DS2500's - held up well although I would have preferred slightly crisper bite, but I guess you cant have everything in life. Hopefully we are going to try some of these excellent PFC pads, and maybe discs Dan was telling me about, and might even give them a whizz on the Orange, so who knows.

Most importantly Karen had a real laugh, and really got to grips with the GT3 in the late afternoon, and managed to do 40 minutes straight just about before the final whistle !!! The car has done 245 track miles today, averaged 9mpg, and it whooshed us home in no time without missing a beat - cracking !!!

Anyway, enough of me waffling on hijacking the thread,

Thank you again guys, I absolutely cannot wait til the next one !!!

Big thank you for today, it was great and made enjoyable by everyone observing track etiquette. Some nice cars on track and all driven well.

Thanks again to Frayz for saving my afternoon with a couple of litres of Motul and to Zak for his tireless eforts on Saturday setting my car to the best it's ever handled. Shame the day ended so abruptly, just as Zak was giving me a driving lesson :D

Looking forward to the next one.

Sorry I couldn't stay for the meet. The poor dog had been on his own since 6:30 am
