cheers. tbh thats the price as mine was the scond highest offer, so dropping price might be hard.
i am having doubts about my big plans for a skyline track is sensible regarding body work etc.
this would be a good alternative and as a lot of expensive stuff already fitted like suspension and brakes.
hoses and welding is pretty straigh forward

go for it mate, i think a skyline track car would be pretty expensive imo based on the fact that i only have a 200sx 14a track car and thats not cheap and you certainly wouldnt want to start bashing panels in on a skylinejungle-jim wrote:cheers. tbh thats the price as mine was the scond highest offer, so dropping price might be hard.

it was one of stuarts comments that got me thinking about the panels issue.
i was either gonna buy a 32 GTST and stick an RB25/26 in it or get a 200SX S13 and put an RB25 in that.
i would like to try drifting and this might not be suitable.
however my priority is tracks and not just snetterton.
a 1.6 litre engine will be well cheap to thrash and loads of spares and people with experience
i think i will go with my heart for once.
cheers kev ( i know who to blame lol )

I would say that if you can get the welding done fairly cheaply, then go for it. Withe the wheels, tyres and suspension etc. it has to be worth a go. My work coleague has just bought one too, which needed a bit of welding and he plans on doing some trackdays in it.
The owner of that MR2 is razza987 over on SXOC and I think he came to the Snetterton trackday last February and came out with me for a passenger ride too
