TDI Remap

Post by Ring Leader »

Hi Guys , i've had the TDI passat Re mapped and WOW! big difference!!!!!

had a choice of an "AGRESSIVE" map or a progresive map, I opted for the progressive map!!

70NM more torque in the mid range and it's also superb on fuel 80MPH =51.4 MPG!

cool Eh?

Wow thats a heft torque increase, reminds me of when i had the wifes old golf TDI superchiped without her knowing :D
Bet it feels ALOT more responsive throughout the gears.

LOL. Yeah not bad thanks Mav.

Bang for bucks you can't beat remapping a TDI, IIRC Bubble did his Mondy estate and was quite impressed too.
Does yours kick out alot more black smoke? Her golf did after a while, thats why we sold it for a focus in the end

That's right, the Mondy Estate is the 130bhp and with the box of tricks goes up to about 160 with bucket loads of wheelspin, i mean torque. For a big heavy car, it embarrases a few people away from the lights and on the motorway :D
