I've had to make do with De-acts which aren't as much fun unfortunately!.
Air rifle and night vision goggles
I've been known to modify more than bikes and cars
This is a BSA superten air rifle that i modified for myself, fitted a larger cylinder, altered the trigger, fitted the bipod, sling and sprayed the woodwork satin black
I use it for pest control in my (large) garden i have rats, squirrels and rabbits or at least used to

20lbs would be a very large Rabbit and they are about the biggest thing you could realistically shoot with an air rifle

My 10 pence worth - If you don't want the hassle of the firearms ticket route - you can't go far wrong with one of the theoben rifles - I've had a few theobens since 1984 and still reckon they are the best all round pest busters on the market.
Someone posted a link up earlier in the thread to thier web site - they will under certian circumstances do a slight custom job - like my fenman with a one off evo beech stock machined for the evo silencer.

There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tape.....
Had Weirach HW80 before I started buying Theobens - yes they are good basic rifles moderatly priced - but to be honest they can't hold a candle to the TheobensJakester wrote:PSG1 = Poser's rifle
Theoben (like Daystates) = over engineered and over priced
Weirach HW100 is one of the best pre charged pnuematics about at the Logun make a good one too (not the Solo)
- I agree tottaly regarding daystates, I always found then a tad faffy - last time I looked the loguns were a bit on the pricey side for what they were (certainly good though) - it all depends on what Stu wants I suppose, a precharge or a breakbarrel/sidecocker.
If he wants the best break barrel then you cant get any better than a theoben gas ram system - I believe even Weirach did a HW with the gas ram fitted as a top of the range rifle.
Other thing to consider with the theobens is where in the country they are located - Somersham Cambs - close enough to pop over

Had a look on the website,
And amongst dads rifles he has a Weihrauch - either a 77 or 97 with sight - and he happened to tell me that he wants a "multi shot" "gas filled" rifle.
What is the best and what is the most powerful, and can you get them "played with" as i think the Weihrauch from memory is around 25lb/ft.
How hard is it to get a F.A.C for an air rifle by the way ???

I agree about the Theoben stuff , its very expensive and the original Rapid 7 had a truly awful single stage trigger.Jakester wrote:PSG1 = Poser's rifle

The Rapid Mk2 is nice all their stuff is beautifully engineered but it was over
I would hae a look at an Air Arms S400 or 410, the new S410 TDR is a nice bit of kit:
