What a twonk

Post by jdening »

I advertised one of my M3s on pistonheads.

The next day I got this email.

---------------------------------------------------------
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/132290.htm

Are you not supplying the hard top with the sale of the car then???? They are not an optional extra! Every bmw convertible comes with one as standard when new...If your selling the car the roof should be included in the price.... You need to do your homework...
---------------------------------------------------------

I am astonished - not only is he sad enough that he emails advertisers to hector them about their adverts, but also the fact that he is sooooooo wrong!

Irritating little berk...

Ta - actually, I'm in mourning for a lost opportunity. The black M3 I've just bought - the same garage was also advertising a 2003, 27K miles STI S202 the other week. It went for 9800, and I was kicking myself for not buying it.

WHen I was up there, they still had it - apparently the sale fell through - I offered them 10K, but they said 'No way Jose - that eBay auction was almost a nightmare'. They want 13 for it now....which still seems cheap.

It is a stunning car, it must be said...

But - must sell M3s first!!!

Wrong indeed - that's the problem with no reserve auctions....I reckon it's worth about 14.
