yes Max only "pretty" funny mind!

Not sure on more power gary unless you mean from the stonger spark, then maybe a little.

Injection on minis isn't really a good thing, many, many people have tried and failed and gone back to carbs, cos of it's 2 ports for the 4 cylinders, but never say never mate!

matt can you not use the single injection unit off the newer version, seems such a shame to have only half the ecu working just for spark.

as for power you should be able to gain a bit more because with ecu controlled spark you have better control over it

Yes I see what your saying Gary but the car is set up for max safe power with the ignition optimised for that, and what ever happened in other areas was to bad, not idea for driveability but best for power. The ecu I have only covers the ignition.

So it might make more power in some areas but not over all.

Just PM you on another matter :) .

One was out in warm today getting the car finished (1.7 degrees) to be spot on!

I managed to get it fired up after getting oil pressure, which was very slow for once, this was because the 20w 50 oil I use was like treacle going into engine so not really surprised!
That reminds me I must buy a new choke cable, as my one had almost snapped because of the heat as it had been sitting on the ex manifold.

So i have lots left to do but it would be nice to come to the track day in it, if the weathers not to cold. but we'll see.
