Is it the steering fluid reservoir ? ...

Reason for asking the wire on the sender is broken .... I can't find it mentioned in the engine manual.

I asked Nik the same question a while back - then looked it up in the manual and yes it's the steering fluid reservoir.

It's got the wierdest dip stick as well which makes reading it a royal pain.

It definitely is.
To read the dipstick you need to push it down against its spring.

and remember its dextron 2 fluid in there and dextron 3 fluid in the transfer box.
