No, it's the original block and crank that it rolled out of the factory with. :-DMGturbo wrote:Very impressive power figures for a 1600! GT30 must be well matched, must pull like a bitch above 4800rpm. Is it still the same CVH block or have you gone 'ZVH'?

Indeed it does pull fairly well when it finally comes onto boost!! It pulls well to 7000rpm too.

Ok then, more questions! Ow much boos' it runnin'? Forged pistons/and rods? What sort of compression ratio? And managament?Christian and Beccy wrote:No, it's the original block and crank that it rolled out of the factory with. :-DMGturbo wrote:Very impressive power figures for a 1600! We actually ran it to 2.4 bar, but there was no more power to be had at that boost, so we backed it off. :-D
It has Farndon H-Section Steel Rods and Ross Racing Forged Pistons. It is very low comp. It runs Omex 710 Engine Management, mapped by us. 8)

It's fairly bad, but probably better than most RST's as the suspension and geometry has been improved considerably. It has alot more adjustment than they ever had as standard, mainly thanks to the complete retro-fitted Turbo-Technics Adjustable front-end and adjustable TCA's.murano3 wrote:That is an incredible output, is the torque steer pretty bad?.
I like the challenge of how interesting it is to drive. It certainly gets the adrenaline going. 8)
