millers

Post by jady »

my engine builder recomends millers 10/60.
every 3 monthes with oil filter.
I noticed this grade was not on the list as no one else uses this grade why.
I know there is rumors why engine builders use this as it is ment to make the engine run quite.
But NORRIS/HI TEQ/ and some others recomend this oil.
hate people who talk about how fast there car is but only eva go shopping in the thing!!!

Silkolene Pro R 15W-50
Takes a touch longer to reach operating temp.
No noticable difference with the oil cooler, just run her gently for first ten miles.

use vaious Millers CFS and Motul 300v dependant on spec, model, use, etc.................

certain parties talk 10w60 millers down, but personally find its far better than a lot of other so called 'brands' and a lot of whats written is based on old or out of date research..........millers also now use triple ester base stocks and in my experience would only really use the two companies mentioned having had past issues with some other suppliers
ASPerformance
distributors for PIAA, EXE-TC, PERF. FRICTION, PAGID, FERODO RACING,
MOTUL & MILLERS OILS,
and the list goes on...............

Castrol RS 0W40 in my engine.

Also used this in the R34 GTR - great oil, even if a little thin
