i could go head to head, but like Max1 I have so much to sort and get right that my rec act time are normally around 4 secs, so if you can wait that long yes why not lol.

14 second part shows a piss poor first 1/8 mile and the 98 mph is a horendous final 1/8. I managed a 13.0 @113 mph with a blown transmission LOL
I have managed a 12.01@118 with a standard R32gtr OS Gilken clutch,Mines ECU + bleed valve . Same set up plus a 100 shot of NOS I ran a 11.7@103 with a transmission problem. I am suprised you did not loose across the line speed with your transmission issue.

Bloody good times for a 'standard' GTR Paul :o Was your technique a little on the healthy side? Do you remember the revs that used to launch at?

Yes after quite a few runs the optimum seemed to be a 7k launch and changing gear at 8k. Tyres needed to be at 20psi. Another R32 with the same set up but 17inch wheels ran a 11.9 next to me #-o

I take it that's why you had transmission troubles then? I don't know if I could do that to mine. Nothing special about the car, but I think my nerves would go before the clutch.

I did try a 9k launch but with mixed results :? the only transmission problem was the fourth to fifth crunch which caused me to miss the gear.
Guess this is why I ended up with two GTRs one to race and have off the road a lot  and another to show.
