Did you make a resolution for the new year?

Post by andycaca »

As is traditional at the start of the year, many of us make new year resolutions. things we will change, acquire or stop doing :)
Generally speaking, i dont bother with these, but this year my aim is to become a certified database admin on MS technology (already well versed in mysql but that doesnt translate effectively into the corporate environment) starting this wednesday when a new training book arrives.

And of course, my other resolution is to do as many track and drag days as i can afford, so the sooner im certified the better! :)

Good luck with that Andy =D>

I dont bother too much with new year's resolutions either myself but will be filling the whole year with things that I want to do rather than vowing to do them at some unspecified time in the future and never ending up doing them.

Without wanting to be morbid or anything, we only get one chance on the here and I plan on living it doing stuff I love.... so much more track action, track days, time attack, 1/4 miles and hopefully an excursion back into rallying if someone needs a co-driver.

This year has got to be better than 2006... bring it on :D

Best of luck Andy. Sure you'll do well mate.

As for New Years resolutions, I'm going to stay off of the booze for a bit, cut down on the food and try and be a bit more patient.

I got pissed off with that though so back to business as usual :thumb:

Dunc,

After the year you've had, it would be hard pushed to get a worse one....!
All the best for 2007 tho..

Yep - going to give up smoking. again.

Decorate my dining room
Decorate the bathroom
Spend thousands on upgrading the car (in secret so the missus don't notice)
