new chap saying hello

Post by spooj »

Hi there..my names Russell and i hail from gritty essex lol.a good friend of mine Frayz recommended the site and said what a great bunch you are and that i should come say hello.
i drive a 1996 RS2000 2wd.its not bigpower but im happy with it cos it serves me 24/7 and gets me to work as well.
its currently running 171bhp and 157lbs torque. Was lucky enuff, and dead chuffed to have it fastford featured back in feb 2005.
Im a track virgin, but i really want to get on the track at some point this year and start learning about how bad i really must drive lol,and what needs tweaking on the car to make it more viable.
cheers   will post some pics and spec in your pic section in a mo

Welcome to the site Spooj.

I only bought the domain name 'bigpower.co.uk' because I thought it sounded cool and was a lot quicker than 'aloadoflikemindedblokesthatalllovecarsregardlessofbrandandlikegivingitlargeportionsontheringortheirlocaltrack.com'
We have LOADS of events planned for 2007 and you will be welcome at any of them, presuming that Frayz has used the reknowned chav filter when recommending people :thumb:

Cheers

Nice to see ya mate.

Yes Stu, my chav filter works overtime, and this guy filtered through with no problems.
You'll have to get to a Big Power meet Russ, they are a bit of a trip up at Snetterton race circuit but well worth the effort. Its great to meet such a friendly buch of guys that are interested in all sorts of cars.

Welcome aboard fella :D
