I have never been to JAE because it is not really my thing in so much that there are no cars to look at on track or strip

.............don't let any BP members get caught in the 'flamer kit' competition because it is punishable by hanging O:)

Very true, I don't hang around for the "night time entertainment". The whole flamer thing is not quite what I thing I stand for. The drifting last year was alright, bar the fact it was on an oval but there were plenty of places to view it and was great to see cars tearing it around...made me want to take my own car on there!

Pretty nice place to try and get some deals done too, especially near the end of the day when vendors just want rid of excess stock :)

Flamer kit winner?? You must mean Tiny  Nice bloke by all accounts

I think the best solution, as far as this thread goes, is to wait for an answer back from Clair to see if she will accept BigPower as a club en-masse (Fords, Porsche et all) If they won't accept the club as a whole tnen I would say that BigPower shouldn't attend as a club. If individuals choose to go and support whoever they like, by all means do.

I'll update the thread when I have more news :thumb:

I hope we do not go down the sub division BP route, since I think I may have the only french car on the forum! (even though technically, Renault is 50% Nissan).

When I had the R34 GTR Skyline, I went to the JAE as part of a GTR owners club in 2002,03,04,05 and 06. If I want to go to the Clio Sport National meet in 2007, I will go as part of the Renault V6 forum or Clio Sport club. All of us have this option with our own mark of car.

BP is great as it is, and nice to have members and forum users with cars from accross the globe. This is part of its attraction to me and really does not need to be diluted down. It is different for this reason; I guess no one hear would supprt a BP stand at the Clio Sport National at Bruntingthorpe in 07 so why the JAE ????

I have to agree with Stuart on this being en-masse and lets see what Claire says.
