Shapla Indian restaurant Attleborough

Well why not?

Fucking useless! The food was pretty good, if a bit dubious in presentation, but the service and waiting times...........it was almost as if the guy that runs the place watched Fawlty Towers as a business model and scaled back the customer care. Avoid like the plague unless you want a good night fucked up :thumb:

On the other hand, for fine dining you should try the Mulberry Tree. They have a varied menu and will stun you with their deserts.

The best desert I have found to date was at the Pride of Lincoln Pub in ... you guessed it .... Lincoln :D

It was the "Curly wurly mega thingy" (actual name on the menu)

It was humungous :D It is supposed to be shared between 2 people but fook that. I had the whole thing to myself. Much to the disgust of Sarah and the kids who kept trying to pinch some. I will see if I can find a pic of it somewhere.

good work fella :thumb: there is an all you can eat chinky down riverside in norwich which i highly recomend, you can pick want you want and they will even cook it for you the problem is we all go down there then plan to go on the beer afterwards then the competion starts who can eat the most end up with us all eating so much we can even drink, then have to go home bit pointless really but fun lol

I second the Mulberry tree, very good food. Bit posh nosh for you though Stu !!!!

Mint mountains....now they were ace ! I agree, getting smaller everytime.

We (Em and I) went to Fatsos on the Salhouse road (used to be Tommy Ts), the food was ace, very similar to Zaks. If you fancy a nice burger and a plate full of curly fries you cant do wrong going there.

With regards to the Indian food I work with loads of them and have to smell what they cook themselves at lunchtimes everyday so the last thing I fancy is an Indian when going out. Smell of curries day in day out is a tad overpowering. Nazma was always good in Prince of Wales road though.

Now I'm a specialist in fine cuisine ... I probably eat out 4 times a week - Jo and I like cooking but we also line proper meals.

1. The Last Wine Bar - Fantastic - but avoid on a Sat as prices are almost double.
2. Loch Fyne - Love it
3. Zizi's - mmmmh big thumbs
4. Stones - another ace place
5. Torrero's - very good - great value
6. Ali Tandori - Best indian in norwich
7. Benalong Thai - Ace food, ace service :)
8. Cafe Uno - cheap food!
9. Indulge - bloody great food and great value

I could go on ... :) - but I won't ...
