Engine Splutter Please Help!!!

Post by Rolygtst »

We have developed a splutter at low revs on the Supra(Surprize Suprize).Pulled into the garage for some Petrol, filled up and when i started the engine thats when it happened..Saying that anything over 3000rpm it runs like a DREAM but on idle it runs ok for a while then starts running Lumpy....Could this be something simple and easy like Plugs or Leads(Please say YES)!..Any help would be more than welcome

Thankyou Trev/Roly/Rich

May also be worth checking the air flow meter (black plastic box behind the induction/air box) Sometimes this can become very dirty and may need a gentle clean. Dan has done this before on his GTR so it may be worth asking him and doing/checking this anyway :)
