Huge commitment over the kerbing at the start of that sequence. A great noise and a fantastically presented Hachi Roku. Does anyone know if that is the same car that Tsuchiya still uses in the Touge battles in recent videos?

The guy has been a successful race driver in Japan for more than 20 years, produced countless DVD's and videos, Initial D the long running animated series was supposedly based on him, featured in hundreds of magazines all of which relating to Japanese cars and you recognise him from a driveby appearance in a pretty average movie?! :o

Sorry if I've gone off on one, but Tsuchiya is one of my icons (although I understand that he is a bit of a commercially driven mo'fo)

Peace and love :thumb:

Tsuchiya is one of the funniest mofo's I've seen - plus a bit handy with a car - anycars .... "It's so fast even a dead man would scream"

The guy rarely drives with a helmet on unless it's a battle. I've got the video somewhere of him, Orido and someone else driving 3 tuned cars around one of the circuits but it is pouring with rain, the other two back out but Keiichi is sitll going for it.

I'll see if I can find it, grab some snapshots and upload it :)
