Very interesting - still I don't want one, one day we'll be forced to runaround in electric / hydrodren powered hover cars - till then I want the combustion engine :)

Still...batteries/electricity isn't the ultimate solution. Car has to be 100% recycable and the energy it runs off needs to be sourced from a renewable low impact source. Wind turbines are nice but have a habit of being a danger to birds, dams just screw up the local environment (flooding one area and draining another)...

It's great how everyone just stares at the fact it produces no CO2 and think, "wow, this is how we solve global warming"

/rant off

other than that, nice car! :D

Still would need the roar of an internal combustion engine though.

gets on my wick when the greenies go on about the cars and enviroment.

apparently most of the global warming/ozone thing is due to methane. the biggest producers are cows!!

want to help the enviroment? eat more burgers :-D

one day no one will remember what a straight-six or V8 will sounded like!!

i still don't understand why we can't remake petrol as a chemical, rather than rely on other methods?

a friend of mine who works for an oil company says there is so much oil still underground it could substain us for another 200 years!!

trouble is its all under africa or somewhere?

Except this tesla needs a 60A Ac supply to charge it. Thats more than some houses have as a total supply.
