I think the last time I saw your car actually moving under its own steam was @ Rockingham, getting on for a year ago soon

yes bubble its coming up to a year the car went pop at the end of march but ive managed to get a hell of a lot of work done to it in the time its been off the road and so far ive done everything myself the respray the lot and im having a hand in building and mapping the engine as well ( more than likely end up a spanner gimp lol ) . doesnt look like the same car and it definetly wont drive like it, got better suspension setup and components stronger more powerful engine and it looks a damn site better as well, just got to start on the inside now but not doing that till after teh engine is done
stuartstaples gtrs are top feed gtt's are top feed for some reason they made gtst in side feed, the fuel system ive got pumps a lot of fuel 554 lph to be precise and the standard side feed fuel rail wont allow me to pump the LPH of fuel that i want so its easier to convert to top feed with a nice looking billet rail and be able to have a dual feed rail with central return. rather than have the two pumps pushing fuel into into a Y block like its set in the picture and then too the fuel rail i will have a seperate pump pumping to each end of the fuel rail with a decent regulator on the return. it will give me better control over the fueling and help the car tick over better large injectors are bitches to get tickover with plus you can get more BHP with an 850cc top feed than you can with a 850cc side feed.
so better LPH
better fuel control
more bhp
seems the best route to go, oh yes i forgot too a nice blue anodised billet fuel rail looks so much better than a scabby side feed rail
im not sure what size injectors im going to go for yet as we havent done the maths on that im currently running 850cc sides and i got the car to 500bhp with those but i think my old fuel pump limited out on that as well. talking to my contact in aus it seems that a lot of the RB30's out there running 700-800 ath usualy are running 1000cc injectors.

Nice to see a fellow Turbonetics T70 user :thumb:
ive found theres not many people using the turbonetics t70 turbo so hard to find out what people actualy think of it, im thinking bit laggy but all or nothing once it spins up would that be correct.

with the lairy cams, the 3ltr engine at high compression and big boost it should be a bloody animal
first thing once its done is a track day get used to handling it again as its been so long since ive driven her

All the engine parts are now here so its down to the tuners to build and fabricate.
ive updated the spec at the start with all the new parts and the parts that have changed.
and heres a couple of pics of the finnished exterior, mirrors indicators everythig fitted apart from the wheel spacers which will be on the weekend, took me a little whilte to find the perfect spacers that bolt on

went down and checked the build at the weekend, everything is on schedule.
the cars going to be mapped on a hub dyno so i can see what she hitting the road with, so im going to need to book a RR power run so i can have some down the pub look at the size of my knob flywheel power figures lol
after speaking to innovate he thinks the car will possibly be ready and run in for easter weekend so fingers crossed Donny North hear i come
