Greetings

Post by r34nismo »

Just thought I would say hi, not been to a lot of the forums over the last year as I have been off doing other thigns and projects.

Best to take time out as a lot of the forums are in my eyes falling into the realms of the meek inheriting them :) and telling me things in posts using text language which takes me an enigma machine to decode it.
( couldn't think of a better way to say that )

I am in Berkshire, Reading and have known a few of the people in the scene on and off for over 3-4 years now, albeit have been into cars since I was around 20 years old and I caught the bug ( Bank Manager is aware of this ) and now 33, oh dear where has the time gone.

So where are the likely lads ?

Bladey ?
Smiffy ?
Barnsy ?
Henry ?
Bruce ?
Jamie ?

I hear this is a sensible place.............. Lets hope its not all physics and no play.

Anyhow, hello world.....[/b]

text speak really was winding me up. 5-10-15 pages on a forum and with a number of people writing in Text chat just means it takes me an afternoon to actually decode it and read it.

So it will be good to be somewhere that doesnt have that.

Welcome to the site Mark,

I know exactly what you mean about forums going downhill. That was one of the motivations behind BigPower. Funny as it may sound, the forum is secondary to the events that we as a club attend. In my eyes, cars are for using first, and talking about later.

James seems to enjoy it on here, so hopefully you will too :thumb:
