Oh dear. There aint no way on earth you could generate enough heat in road tires on a cold wet track to make a differance. It was just a mistake and we all make em. For what ever reason it steped out ( could have been too much throttle or oil on the track ) Upto that point the line was pretty good ie a nice late apex into the s bend " a comprimise corner " You could talk all day about which line to take through there on a greasey track but at the end of the day you have to take the biggest radious turn and prioritise the part which will benifit you the most.
Although on a differant track on sat morning i had a big off in the kart due to the wet. Only differance i fixed it for

Dean im really sorry for your mate. I know all to well ( ) how bloody slippery that track was in the morning and fair play to you for posting what happened up on here.
Not meaning to get off topic but being a complete snetterton virgin i braked in between the two corners there every lap, are you not meant to?

Fair play to you putting up the video,
And YES, you scream like a little girl !!
Real shame to see you make a dent in your pride and your car though, hope it doesnt put you off for too long. Trackday insurance was a good move, I might have to think about some of that myself. The accident itself was very easily avoidable, but thats in hindsight, from a comfy chair, having watched it four times, so not really worth beating yourself up over. Small error, small damage, big relief I'd say.
best of luck fella,
J.

Dean, so sorry for you mate.
That vid clip is very good quality and its unlucky that the tyres were across the corner like that. That esses thru the bombhole all the way to coram was extremely slippy in the morning, mine was all over the place, if I got on the power a little early.
In the dry though that section was so different, very quick.
