Thanks for all the words of wisdom and good advice, I think my pride's more dented than my car. At the moment I feel like just getting my car fixed and driving like grandma for 6 months :-({|= . I am gutted about stuffing it but it was totally my fault (I think I remember trying to dab the brakes between corners [-X ) Still think the video is damned funny.

Ben, if you could sent me that guys number that would be useful.

so you were there geoff?

i didn't see you?

i'm no expert but it looks like the line he was holding for such a long time, the back end just loss traction.

and it being the first left hander after the start the back right tyre was probably cold?

Yes I was there in the Mondeo Estate Support Vehicle (sounds good) I saw your car, but as yet I know very few faces and didn't like to butt in on people that I didn't know.

Really sorry about this incident Dean.

A few of us felt a bit of twitching between that section, but you may be right about the braking.

Get it fixed and get back to Snetterton :)

(And thanks for posting, as it does show what can happen)

Jim you walked into this~

No, you're no expert so trying to discuss what may or may not have happened when you've done about 20 laps of the track is cobblers (sorry) The tyres would have been cold all the way around the track as serious heat would have impossible to acheive without tyre warmers or far more serious cornering to create friction. Disecting Deans accident won't get anyone anywhere. The man himself said it was most likely to be braking mid corner that unbalanced the car so let's leave it at that :thumb:
