My GT4 just gone over 200,000 miles!

Post by BrianGT4 »

She made it!!

Just changed over to 200,000 miles on the clock tonight on the way home from work :D

I did have a few problems with her in the last fews weeks, she just cut out for no apparent reason a couple of times...

...eventually traced it to a dodgy immobilizer,it decided to immobilize everything while I was driving! not nice! :?

Big thank you to TonyB for helping me diagnose the problem...since replacing the offending (non-Toyota :P ) item she has been running sweet

See you all at the Snetterton tomorrow night....and on Saturday

It's a bit sad I know...but I took a pic!

Brian - I am glad you stopped tha car to take the pic :D

Not sad at all - I wonder how many cars will ever make it that far?

I have never had a car do that. Must be 1% if that.

Well done Brian, and she is still running sweet - all that TLC paid off :)

A fine example of superior Toyota engineering (tony runs and hides) :P

You have no excuse not to turn the boost up on Saturday now tho ;-)

Proof that performace cars aren't always unreliable
