Project R1

Post by gtst lad »

Hope i can get away with doing a bike project thread :)

Bikes a 1999 Yamaha R1.

Current modifications.
2001 bodywork
Remus exhaust

Just bought a carbon fuel tank as my first mod, its an enduro tank which is 21 litres compared to the standard 18 and has the latest breather system from the r7.
Just waiting for it to be sprayed then i'll be fitting it 8) , ohh should save a tiny bit of weight as well.

They have some lovely bits on there Paul, and the prices don't seem bad. I didn't look, were the bits wet or dry carbon? You can't beat a bit of carbon mate 8)
