I'm hoping the feelings of upset will be outweighed by the huge grin when I drive mine again. I'm sure you'll be the same :thumb:

What horrible thread to have to read.. sorry to hear all is not well with the car :(

However, as frustrating as it maybe you have someone very very good on the case now.

Id defoo recomend having a wideband permanently installed so you can keep an eye on the mixtures.

I think if you hold out for Zak to map it you will have the animal that she should of been from day one. Im aware of the company you have chosen to leave anon' and I think its sad to hear yet more bad reports about them :(

Best of luck mate.. alway here if i can be of help :D

Its getting far to common now with the bad reports.. We had one also, Mrs spec'C's classic was there due to a brake problem, when driving slowly the pedal would drop seriously low before anything happened. She spent a saturday morning at said place before leaving WITHOUT a resolution... in the end we booked it into scoobyclinic, had a nice friday/sat up there problem resolved and a few more mods... :o

It turned out the problem was NOT the brakes but the wheel bearing... new one fitted ( well complete hub as it was foofed) and the problem was sorted... Only + side was said anon never charged us but also never resolved our problem until (at further risk) we drove for 3 hours to get it sorted... :?

Scoobyclinic on the other hand...

I'm glad you got it sorted...
Yeah, i think their quality has really taken a drop. They had such a good reputation, but now it seems they have become a victim of their own succes!

OK Guy's latest update.....

Zak dropped off the car to me @4.30am this morning :o

Massive thanks to both him and his helper in the hour of need FRAYZ :notworthy:

Zak got to work and tried to get as much finished and more importantly the car safe before heading off on his xmas holidays.
More issues ssen.... turbo inlet not fitted correctly, nuts missing... and beacuse the oil cooler didn't have a thermostat fitted, it's been running too cold, so on inspection, the oil filter take off contained sludge :x
The new ECU has been fitted and has a safe MAP up to 1 bar at the moment, as we're still awaiting modified injectors, before mapping to the cars potential!

Next installment will be in the new year, when the injectors, TMIC, OIL thermostat and final MAP take place... I CAN'T WAIT!!! :-D

So once again big thanks to ZAK (Mocom) & Frayz!!! =D>

That is very impressive but from the little I know of Zak, I can't say I'm surprised. Glad you are nearer a resolution and look forward to the next installment.
