Brake cylinder stopper
Brake cylinder stopper
I have just bought a brand new Brake cylinder stopper from someone on Skyline owners forum for
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up

Git!!
I have been trying to get one for a while (at a sensible price) and failed. I know several people who swear by them Nik, so you've done well there. Ian with the R33 has one if you want to PM him for more details. Was the one you bought a one of was there a group buy thing? [-o<

Re: Brake cylinder stopper
Nik you work with me everyday and I've got one of these fitted!!!! LOLR32 Nik wrote: I have heard that these make a big difference to the feel and performance of the brakes. Does anyone have one of them fitted and did you notice an improvement in the brakes once it was fitted?
Cheers
Nik
I could have told you that they make a noticeable difference.
Take my s13 out and see what you think of the brakes on that  (but only when the weathers better)
s13 with 313bhp and Omex management and now an APT fully forged engine

Had one on my R34 GTR. It does make a difference under very heavy braking since you are trying to stop the bulkhead flex where the master cylinder is.
Changing the rubber flexible brake lines for braided ones improved the brakes far better. Best to do both to the brakes if you can.
