I was reading about this on Northloop the other day. Apparently he was gradually building up speed around the circuit, and was attempting to brake after the dip at PG rather than before and after.

Just carried a little too much speed and was really unlucky with the outcome :(

As jo put it "Unlucky" - oh dear that's not good - ok yeh driver error - but not really much time to recover - I guess it wasn't written off though.

Reckon he was pretty unlucky not to catch it :( although he does seem to turn in a bit tight don't you think?

Looked like he backed off too much and got a tank slapper moment but what do I know about going sideways :)

Yep,

Totally off the power, the minute it started to go sideways when he was already off throttle he should have nailed it, but was too busy steering (slowly) to ever stand much of a chance of getting out of it.

Not that fast really considering, and relatively little damage too from what you could see on that poor quality video.

Unlucky :(
