Good luck and fine commitment to your car and Bart to cancel the holiday. Nurburg 700 sounds like a laugh.
For cooling I just ran simple alloy tubing to both the brakes and induction and cable tied it all in place. Works ok so far (watch out for puddles though) There is ducting and pipework for sale in the shop I think.

Sorry don't think i'll be able to make it as it's the same date as the christmas meal with my other car club XR4Register.com
I am hoping to make an appearance at either your meet on the 13th or for a flying visit to your track day at snetterton. As you can imagine it's a bit of a treck from Birmingham. Once i know for sure i'll let you all know.

Nope. Couldn't be further from the truth Ben.
The V6 was always built as the brunty torquey motor compared to the more performance orientated Cosworth. Imagine the models as GTS-T's and GTR's.
The head on the V6 is massively compromised in terms of flow and there is very little that can be done about that aspect. Yes you can get the engines bored/stroked up to 3.7 litres but the expense involved for the modest gains means its easier and more cost effective to go down the route of a transplant. A nice little YB in there with forged bottom end.............don't get me started

Most guys that are running XR4x4's either prefer the fact that it's different to a Cosworth or don't want to spend that amount of money (from those that I've spoken to)
Different strokes and all that.......
The turbo kit that Pablo and Bart use was designed to provide good gains (ie up to 100 bhp) as an alternative for more grunt with far less aggro.
